For those who do not have the game's Premium pass you can pretty much skip this post.

The Premium shop is for those mobile player who are willing to pay 9.99 USD per month. The exclusive items include extra accessories that are mostly shiny collectables. In the Premium pass you can a third booster pack opening on top of the free two pack openings per day. You pay for the pass if you want stuff a little bit faster.

I have only used the two week trial version of the Premium pass. For me I did not find it that marginally useful. Ten USD or 14 CAD plus tax per month on this game seems more expensive than a VPN service. I have most of the cards including meta decks like Pikachu ex, Mewtwo ex, Starmie ex.

December's Promo Items In The Premium Pass In Pokemon TCG Pocket

Every month the mobile game refreshes the Premium Pass collectable items. For December 2024 you have a Mewtwo promo, Pikachu Coin, Pikachu Playmat, Pikachu Card Sleeves, Pikachu Backdrop Picture Frame or Pikachu Cover. These are available for purchase for Premium Pass holders. See pictures below.

If you play the game in the versus mode you may encounter whales players showing out their blinged out gear. My recommendation is to not get initimidated by someone willing to spend more money with little ROI. There is no guarantee of better gameplay with extra bling.
