¡Buenas tardes Geeks! Vengo a compartirles mi humilde opinión acerca de la Tablet de Amazon, la Fire HD, en su versión 10 (11ª generación). Desglosando la misma a través de mi experiencia general comenzada por la decisión de compra, el proceso de la misma, el unboxing, y demás. ¡Acompáñenme!
Good afternoon Geeks! I'm here to share with you my humble opinion about Amazon's Tablet, the Fire HD, in its 10 (11th generation) version. Breaking it down through my overall experience starting with the purchase decision, the process of it, the unboxing, and so on. join me!
No me considero un comprador impulsivo, si bien me encanta la tecnología y considero que cualquier artefacto que me pueda facilitar la vida me seria necesario, no siempre acudo a comprarlo. Pero en esta ocasión no dude en hacerlo con esta Tablet, el motivo era sumamente sencillo y delicado: Mi salud visual.
Desde hace un par de años he ido desarrollando problemas en la vista, desde 2020 hasta el sol de hoy he estado usando lentes, yo debo estar en constante uso de teléfonos y/o laptops, desde temprana edad, y es bien sabido que las luces que emiten estos dispositivos son altamente dañinos para los ojos, sumado a también una deficiencia patológica por parte de padre (todos los miembros de su familia y por lo tanto de la mía tienen tendencia a perder la vista con mayor velocidad de lo habitual) han influenciado en que mi visión se haya visto -queda pésimo el gerundio visto/viendo- mermada, muy a mi pesar.
Cuando no estoy ni trabajando, ni chateando, ni perdiendo el tiempo con estupideces, estoy leyendo, suelo usar el teléfono para leer, me gusta leer, y a pesar de que puedo saber que me estaría haciendo daño (con usar el teléfono, no con leer) aun así lo sigo haciendo. Pero hubo un momento en el que el PDF me costaba, las letras aveces suelen ser pequeñas y eso me llevaba a forzar la vista, y ahí si me detuve y pensé en soluciones: Una tablet.
Con la Tablet, se supone las letras, a la hora de abrir un PDF, serian mas grandes y no tendría que forzar mi vista para poder leer, así que sin muchos rodeos decidí visualizar en el mercado acerca de una Tablet que no fuera muy costosa, pero lo suficientemente eficiente para cumplir con mis demandas, concluí que la Fire HD 10 seria la mejor opción, así que fui a por ella.
I do not consider myself an impulsive buyer, although I love technology and I consider that any device that can make my life easier would be necessary, I do not always go to buy it. But this time I did not hesitate to do it with this Tablet, the reason was very simple and delicate: My visual health.
For a couple of years I have been developing eye problems, since 2020 until today I have been using glasses, I must be in constant use of phones and / or laptops, from an early age, and it is well known that the lights emitted by these devices are highly harmful to the eyes, added to a pathological deficiency on my father's side (all the members of his family and therefore of mine have a tendency to lose their eyesight faster than usual) have influenced my vision to be diminished, much to my regret.
When I'm not working, chatting or wasting time with stupid things, I'm reading, I usually use the phone to read, I like to read, and even though I may know that I would be hurting myself (using the phone, not reading) I still do it. But there was a moment when the PDF was hard for me, the letters sometimes tend to be small and that led me to strain my eyes, and then I stopped and thought of solutions: A tablet.
With the Tablet, it is assumed that the letters, when opening a PDF, would be larger and I would not have to strain my eyes to read, so without much detours I decided to visualize in the market about a Tablet that was not very expensive, but efficient enough to meet my demands, I concluded that the Fire HD 10 would be the best option, so I went for it.
El precio fue de unos 103 USD aproximadamente, pero el gasto no culmina ahí: inmediatamente, mi novia me aconsejo comprarle un estuche + un glass para protegerlo mejor ante eventuales caídas o golpes. En el mismo mall recorrí las tiendas y no conseguía estuches que se adecuaran a mi deseo; los que habían eran infantiles en su mayoría, hasta que pude conseguir un local donde había un estuche que sin necesidad de enseñarme otros ya había decidido comprarlo, me ofertaron el estuche mas el glass en 30 USD, pero me pareció un despropósito, sobre todo porque en los demás locales estaban en 25 USD, y aunque yo entiendo el tema de los precios en este país, y de que algunas cosas se les gana muy poco, me toco regatear, y conseguí bajar hasta 26 USD. Pague y listo.

In the same mall I went around the stores and could not get cases that would suit my desire; those that were there were mostly children, until I could get a store where there was a case that without showing me others had already decided to buy it, they offered me the case plus the glass at 30 USD, but it seemed a nonsense, especially because in the other stores were at 25 USD, and although I understand the issue of prices in this country, and that some things are won very little, I had to bargain, and I managed to get down to 26 USD. I paid and that was it.
Una vez estaba completamente protegida, llegue a casa y tuve que dejarla en cama, pues tuve que salir a hacer compras y llevar a mi novia a su casa, cuando llegue, realice el proceso de explorarla e instalarle las pocas cosas que pensé serian necesarias (una app para leer, una app para meditar,una app para escuchar musica, una app para medir el tiempo de uso, una app para anotar observaciones, una app para usar filtro de luz azul). No mas que eso, realmente su uso seria muy sencillo y esencial, jamas pensé en darle otros usos fuera de los ya mencionados.
Pero claro, al ser SO de Amazon, no venia incluida la Play Store de Google, asi que vi el primer video en Youtube que me apareció sobre como instalar Play Store a una Tablet Amazon, aplique lo enseñado, y en 4 minutos ya estaba lista la Play Store.

No more than that, really its use would be very simple and essential, I never thought of giving other uses outside those already mentioned.
But of course, being Amazon OS, the Google Play Store was not included, so I saw the first video on Youtube that appeared on how to install Play Store to an Amazon Tablet, I applied what was taught, and in 4 minutes the Play Store was ready.
Instaladas las app necesarias, me di cuenta que el dispositivo empezo a presentar un poco menos de fluidez, tampoco es una exageracion, pero fue un detalle que note; el dispositivo es de 3 GB de Ram, si desean saber mejor las especificaciones (aunque en una de las fotos mas arriba estan explícitas) les dejo el siguiente enlace: Amazon HD 10
Lo de la fluidez es totalmente entendible, hoy en dia considero que se deben contar con dispositivos de al menos 6GB de Ram para obtener rapidas respuestas a las soluciones del momento, asi que mas que un punto negativo diria que es algo normal y entendible.
Le hice una prueba de velocidad como pueden ver en la foto, y el WiFi va bastante bien, grata sorpresa y sin quejas por ello.
En cuanto al sonido al reproducir musica si debo decir que deja mucho que desear, si bien utilizo la musica con mis auriculares, al desparejarlos y dejar las cornetas del dispositivo el sonido es regular, no es pesimo, pero si considero pudo haber sido un tanto mejor.
Pero bueno, llegando a lo que es el núcleo del problema, la lectura, aquí si puedo sonreír ampliamente, considero ha sido un muy buen gasto, pues la diferencia a la hora de leer es notoria, y eso me complace muy positivamente.

The fluidity is totally understandable, today I consider that you must have devices with at least 6GB of Ram to get fast responses to the solutions of the moment, so rather than a negative point I would say that it is something normal and understandable.
I did a speed test as you can see in the photo, and the WiFi goes pretty well, pleasant surprise and no complaints about it.
As for the sound when playing music if I must say that leaves much to be desired, although I use the music with my headphones, to unpair them and leave the horns of the device the sound is regular, not terrible, but if I consider it could have been somewhat better.
But well, getting to the core of the problem, reading, here if I can smile broadly, I think it has been a very good expense, because the difference when reading is noticeable, and that pleases me very positively.
Al servirme con las finalidades por las cuales la he comprado, debo decir si a la consigna planteada en el titulo de este post, al menos para mi. Me ha servido, me siento contento con ella, y la calificaría con un 8/10. Si tuviera mejor sonido, y un poco mas de RAM, llegaría a 10.
Si la quisieran para tareas mas complejas, o hasta para juegos pesados, a pesar de no ahondar en esas tareas, puedo decirles que no es recomendable esta tablet, en cambio para tareas mas simples sin duda que la recomiendo.

As it serves the purpose for which I bought it, I must say yes to the slogan stated in the title of this post, at least for me. It has served me well, I am happy with it, and I would rate it with an 8/10. If it had better sound, and a little more RAM, it would reach 10.
If you wanted it for more complex tasks, or even for heavy games, although I do not delve into these tasks, I can tell you that this tablet is not recommended, but for simpler tasks I certainly recommend it.
