Witnessed The Grand Kick-off of CRMC 76 Founding Anniversary

  

Founding Anniversary is like remembering a certain organization or an institution as when it was started or opened. It is a celebration where all employees, members, students, or whoever is part of the institution perform various activities and competitions to make the celebration more meaningful and festive.

My dear hive friends in this blog I will be sharing with you a glimpse of the GRAND KICK-Off Of CRMC its 76 Founding Anniversary last November 18, 2023. This year's theme is "76 Years of Excellence, Unity, and Innovation"

CRMC or Cebu Roosevelt Memorial College is one the most notable, prestigious schools here in Northern Cebu. It's a private school that offers from kindergarten to Tertiary Education in various courses. In the last 2 years,2 Top Notchers from the Licensure Examination for Teachers came from this School. Aside from the quality education they offer, they have affordable school tuition fees and offer various scholarship programs. My youngest child who is now in grade 3 and my second child who is now in grade 9 was officially enrolled in this school.

I was able to attend the said event since my second child is a member of the CRMC DLBC band. I attended to and monitored her since that day she has not feeling well. She had a fever. I advised her not to attend but she refused. She was eager to attend the parade and Palabas or showdown despite her condition.

On the day of the event, the weather was not good, so the parade was canceled. All participants moved directly to the Sports Complex. The complex was packed with various learners from different courses including the Junior and Senior High Schools. Even if the venue was so big, still it was fully occupied.

The event was attended by the CRMC-Main, CRMC-UP, Tabogon Roosevelt High School, Southern Masbate Roosevelt College, and Western Masbate Roosevelt High School. The Grand Ceremonial Kick-Off begins with the honoring of the nation by singing the National Anthem followed by Sugbu Hymn, Bogo Hymn, and CRMC Hymn. After which was a prayer to acknowledge God's dominion over our Hearts. The raising of banners and showcasing of Yell coming from different departments gave way to the formal declaration of the event by the school's vice president. All department showed their best as they performed their Yell amazingly. Afterward, the Boylep Dancers performed their first-ever production number for the CRMCIANs, making the event more lively and spectacular.

 

 

The chairperson of the event presented several activities and contests to be done as part of the celebration. Before the break and other activities, the CRMC DLBC gracefully performed their enthralling and engrossing dance palabas. After the palabas, I immediately picked up my daughter since she almost collapsed because she showed her best despite her condition. So we hurriedly went home for her to take medicine and relax. It was the grand opening program to start an activity lively and had so much fun.
