The end of the School Year is one of the most exciting parts of the year in the school calendar especially if we have children who are still studying. It's not only that our parents are excited but also our teachers and most especially our learners. This is the moment when our learners and parents awardees will walk through the portals to receive their diplomas, medals, certificates, and ribbons as their token of appreciation and for recognizing their exemplary performance during their schooling. But, even without medals and ribbons as long as learners will graduate or finish their level of education, it's already a great success that we parents must be proud of and celebrate.

Well in this blog of mine, I will share with you how lucky I am with my three children. As this quote of Herbert Hoover," Children are our most valuable resource". Of course, to all parents, our children are our asset and our best gift from God. We are all lucky if we have children it could be biological, adopted or we care for them as long as we act as their parents.

My eldest is a grade 10 completer and my 2nd is a grade 9 and my youngest is in grade 3. They were studying in different schools because my eldest loves music and media arts. So let her enroll or study at the Bogo Science and Arts Academy School. My second likes to be a member of a DLBC and be a minorite or twirler, so she studied in CRMC for this school and she is very active in this club. My youngest wanted to be a fluent English speaker and wanted to know how to play guitar, so she enrolled in one of the most reputable schools in town CRMC Elementary.

In my three children, I did not pressure them to be an honor student. I just told them what's important is the learnings they can deposit in their bank of knowledge for them to withdraw during an entrance exam, a job exam, or an interview, and during the Licensure exam to be successful in their lives for financial security. Being an honor student is just a bonus. A bonus that will make us happy as parents. When we walked onto the stage to receive medals and awards the more we were as happy and proud as their parents. That is the only way where children can give in return after a year of struggle and sacrifices just to provide what our children need.

My eldest child is a grade 10 completer, and she has a consistent with honor students since Elementary. My second child is also consistent with honor and my 3rd child is also consistent with honor. She is in the top 7 with honors in their class and received various awards and recognition such as spelling Master, perfect penmanship, most responsible, most initiative, and organizer of the year. I'm happy that even if I was very busy with work and was not able to attend to their needs in their studies like tutoring they all managed to maintain their study habits. Above all, I'm thankful to our Father God for guiding and protecting my children in their schooling. To God be the highest Glory!
