Today is day 48 of my #seven77 regimen. I had a meeting in the morning, did a little bit of paperwork, and then got to cleaning the middle living room. Why, you ask? Because I just loaded up my Xbox 360 with a shipload of custom Rock Band songs, and I want to play drums again!

After getting the room cleaned up, I hit a snag. Two of the poles needed for the whole assembly? They're nowhere to be found. So I look online, prices for what I need are not worth the hassle. I look up other e-drum kits, and I found something that I think will work. I took my daughter to guitar center, we played with their demo kits, I found an open box that fit my budget, went home, and realized I wasn't going to be able to use it because of a cable incompatibility. So back to guitar center I go! Got the cable swapped, get things set up, and then I realize I'm missing a couple connectors! They couldn't get rid of me! So I grabbed a couple connectors off the floor model, went home set everything up, and realized I had the wrong power supply. The best part, though, is that we were taking about this type of power supply, how it's rare, and how it's a pain in the arse. And that's the one he gave me!

So I'll get that exchanged tomorrow morning and then play some Rock Band with my kids!
