Driftwood

If you have been following me for any length of time, then you know that I have a particular fondness for fallen trees, driftwood and other things that float around or near the shoreline. These beauties lay at Hourglass lake, located in East Kootenay, British Columbia. It was a tremendous half day hike up to this isolated lake, and these were some of the first photo ops that really caught my eye. Felt like a kid at a candy store, with all this beauty around us. This is one of the reasons I love hiking so much — the photo ops! Thanks for stopping by.
