In the Lord we will always find hope when we seek him wholeheartedly, when we seek his guidance to take the next step.
11 So I came to Jerusalem, and after staying there three days, 12 I got up during the night, I and a few men with me, and did not tell any man what God had put in my heart to do in Jerusalem; nor was there any horse with me, except the only one on which I rode. 13 And I went out by night through the gate of the Valley to the fountain of the Dragon and to the gate of the Dunghill; and I saw the walls of Jerusalem that were broken down, and its gates that were consumed by fire. 14 Then I went to the Fountain Gate and to the King's Pool; but there was no place for the horse he was on to pass. 15 And I went up by night by the torrent and looked at the wall, and I turned and entered by the gate of the Valley, and I returned. 16 And the officers did not know where I had gone or what I had done; nor until then had I declared it to the Jews and priests, nor to the nobles and officials, nor to the others who did the work.
17 So I said to them: You see the evil in which we are, that Jerusalem is deserted, and its gates consumed by fire; Come, and let us build the wall of Jerusalem, and let us be no longer in disgrace. 18 Then I declared to them how the hand of my God had been good upon me, and also the words that the king had spoken to me. And they said, Let us arise and build. Thus they strengthened their hands for good.
Nehemiah 2.11-18
There is a complex and difficult moment to handle when there is a loss, so pain occurs and nothing is simple. Even so, Nehemiah's experience of lamenting the walls that had been destroyed led him to take action to rebuild them and this allows us to have a picture of how God also works to rebuild what has been destroyed in our lives.
We understand and see the panorama that after the destruction, the crying, lamenting for the destruction, Nehemiah has asked King Artaxerxes for permission to return to the city and work on rebuilding the wall that protected the city. The next step was to make an evaluation of what was left after such a loss. This is also a difficult moment since we are going through a grief of loss and the reconstruction immediately began. While this is happening it can be very difficult, that is, we cannot find hope when everything is destroyed and when we look at it from this position, we only see ruins or a destroyed life, broken relationships or vanished dreams, but when we come to the presence of God as well as Nehemiah did it. We are sure that God will strengthen us and his Holy Spirit will encourage us, giving us new strength.
After this Nehemiah went around to inspect the walls and get to work to understand everything that was needed and begin the repair, when he took these steps he also gave hope to other people since his initial step was to search gods help.
Just as Nehemiah did, he teaches us to see how all the vestiges of destruction that has remained in our lives, everything that we see as destroyed ruins, we can see with the eyes of faith, that is: we can see a lot beyond the circumstances we are experiencing and rejoice in contemplating a future restoration from the hand of God.

En el señor siempre hallaremos esperanza cuando le buscamos de todo corazón, cuando buscamos su guía para dar el siguiente paso.
11 Llegué, pues, a Jerusalén, y después de estar allí tres días, 12 me levanté de noche, yo y unos pocos varones conmigo, y no declaré a hombre alguno lo que Dios había puesto en mi corazón que hiciese en Jerusalén; ni había cabalgadura conmigo, excepto la única en que yo cabalgaba. 13 Y salí de noche por la puerta del Valle hacia la fuente del Dragón y a la puerta del Muladar; y observé los muros de Jerusalén que estaban derribados, y sus puertas que estaban consumidas por el fuego. 14 Pasé luego a la puerta de la Fuente, y al estanque del Rey; pero no había lugar por donde pasase la cabalgadura en que iba. 15 Y subí de noche por el torrente y observé el muro, y di la vuelta y entré por la puerta del Valle, y me volví. 16 Y no sabían los oficiales a dónde yo había ido, ni qué había hecho; ni hasta entonces lo había declarado yo a los judíos y sacerdotes, ni a los nobles y oficiales, ni a los demás que hacían la obra.
17 Les dije, pues: Vosotros veis el mal en que estamos, que Jerusalén está desierta, y sus puertas consumidas por el fuego; venid, y edifiquemos el muro de Jerusalén, y no estemos más en oprobio. 18 Entonces les declaré cómo la mano de mi Dios había sido buena sobre mí, y asimismo las palabras que el rey me había dicho. Y dijeron: Levantémonos y edifiquemos. Así esforzaron sus manos para bien.
Nehemías 2.11-18
Existe un momento complejo y difícil de manejar es cuando existe una pérdida, así se presentan dolor y nada es sencillo. Aún así la experiencia de Nehemías de haberse lamentado por los muros que se habían destruido lo llevó a tomar acción para reconstruirlo y esto nos permite tener un panorama de cómo Dios también obra para que se reconstruya aquello que ha sido destruido en nuestra vida.
Entendemos y vemos el panorama que después de la destrucción, el lloro, lamento por la destrucción, Nehemías ha pedido permiso al rey Artajerjes para volver a la ciudad y trabajar en la reconstrucción del muro que protegía a la ciudad. El siguiente paso fue hacer una evaluación de aquello que quedaba después de semejante pérdida, este también es un momento difícil ya que estamos pasando por un duelo de perdida e inmediatamente comenzó la reconstrucción. Mientras esto sucede puede ser muy difícil, es decir no podemos hallar esperanza cuando todo está destruido y cuando lo miramos desde esta posición, sólo vemos ruinas o una vida destruida, relaciones rotas o sueños esfumados, pero cuando acudimos a la presencia de Dios así como lo hizo Nehemías estamos por seguro que Dios nos fortalecerá y su espíritu Santo nos impulsará dándonos nuevas fuerzas.
Después de esto Nehemías recorrió para inspeccionar los muros Y poner manos a la obra para entender todo lo que se necesitaba y comenzar la reparación, cuando dio estos pasos también dio esperanza a las demás personas ya que su paso inicial fue buscar la ayuda de Dios.
Tal cual como hizo Nehemías, nos enseña a ver como todos los vestigios de destrucción que ha quedado en nuestras vidas, todo lo que vemos como ruinas destruida podemos verlo con los ojos de la fe, es decir: podemos ver mucho más allá de las circunstancias que estamos viviendo y gozarnos al contemplar una restauración futura de la mano de Dios.
