Hello nature lovers, I hope you are doing well and that your plants, crops and gardens are full of flowers, fruits and lots of greenery.

Some time ago my life partner @arrozymangophoto and I visited Enrique Egaña Wallis he is a passionate geneticist who specializes in coffee and cocoa plants, in this visit, apart from learning several important things that we did not know, obviously we drank coffee and he gave us two small seedlings of Cafeto, of this species that we took that day, these were really small initially came in a bag, in them we started their care and irrigation, being small were attacked by some ferrous bachacos, but only did a pruning, after that with the care and natural pruning, they became more beautiful and strong these coffee plants.

I also fertilized these seedlings organically with potassium, nitrogen and calcium, I tell you how:

Potassium: Using the babanas shells, or I pick them in pieces and put them directly in the soil of the plant or I put it inside water to water the plants with it, both are effective but the one with potassium water for irrigation is really miraculous. In the first watering you see the change in the plants in a few hours.

Nitrogen: Every morning after drinking coffee, I water some plants with the leftovers, this is not only gives nitrogen but also helps to scare away some pests.

Calcium: Crushing the eggshells and mixing them with the soil to provide calcium to the plants, this is of longer absorption, so try to make it as small as possible or use your blender.

It was time to transplant them to continue their development, then it was time to move them to pots where they continued their development for several months.

Now they were already bigger and stronger, it was time to plant them in soil to continue their development in this rainy season that will favor even more their growth.

We planted these two coffee trees right in front of the house, I love the idea of being able to admire these coffee trees when they grow with their fruits from the Hogar Verde. Since this garden will be an edible garden and it will be really beautiful to be able to admire the birds enjoying their fruits as well.

The soil is clayey, so we make sure to make a comfortable space for the development of the roots of the coffee tree of at least 50 cm deep and 50 cm wide where we also place some fertilized soil mixed with soil from the site and some agricultural lime or charcoal, to help lower the acidity of the soil and also to avoid any attack of unwanted fungi.

They have been there for a few days now, they look really happy and agusto in this place and I am also super happy about this, I already want to see their fruits, grow them and process them, the time passes super fast so soon I will be giving you news of how these coffee trees are doing and the organic care that I will give them to support their development.
