Today we experiment with the prompt "solar eclipse" and a variety of art medium prompts while using Midjourney V6.

More simple experiments to get a feel of the basic prompting.

I am using the Settings : Midjourney Model v6 (ALPHA), Stylize High, and High Variation Mode. No seed control.

First, let's try a simple "solar eclipse".

Now, let's change the Stylize setting to RAW Mode.

Now, let's turn of RAW mode and select Setting: Stylize low

Setting: Stylize med

Setting: Stylize very high

Notice the differences in composition?

"solar eclipse" + medium with Settings : RAW Mode on, Midjourney Model v6 (ALPHA), Stylize High, and High Variation Mode. No seed control.

First, let's try out "acrylics" as our medium prompt. "solar eclipse, acrylics"

"solar eclipse, polaroid"

"solar eclipse, fresco"

"solar eclipse, oil"

"solar eclipse, finger paint"

A slight difference in prompting can make a big difference.

If you are using another setting on Midjourney or another software you will get different results. If you use Midjourney with the same settings you will still different results but results that are more similar.

Try out a few different mediums, brush types/sizes, and other descriptive prompts, then post what you came up with in the comments below. Once you find the right prompts you will get better results. The more you experiment with the more varied your results may become.
