Good day my hives family, I was just thinking about myself this afternoon, I thought about where I have started and where I am now. All is just the principle of not giving up. After my postgraduate diploma, I set in for the labor market to look for a job, I searched all through Lagos state and the environment to look for a job but to all avail. One day, I received a message that I was shortlisted for an interview, but the position was not specified, you know as someone who has been looking for a job all this while, I was so happy and so ready for the interview.
When I got to the interview venue, I discovered that the job was a marketing job. They asked me to fill out a form from the reception, I did so and I was interviewed, and the interviewer asked me if I had done a marketing job before, I told him I had not, and she said congratulations, ''You just got the job of a marketing officer''. I was so happy that I had gotten a job. I was given an offer later to a company in Ikeja, on getting to the company they asked me to go.
I was told by the secretary of the company that the company never requested any recruitment agency to recruit on their behalf and as a matter of fact, they are not recruiting for now. At that moment I was totally down and disappointed. I went back home that day unhappy and since then I haven't received any text message telling me that I have an interview the next day. I noticed most of that kind of work is in Ikeja, Lagos state.

I DON'T RELENT

I stayed for another year I did not get any job, my fiancee came from Jigwa state to visit me in Lagos, so we went to church together on Sunday, after service my pastor talked with her, and from their discussion, my pastor got to know that I was not working. I thought she told him that I was looking for a job when the pastor asked her when we were planning to get married. so because of this, my pastor called me into her presence and told both of us that I was going to get a job very soon, he immediately called one of his friends to ask if there was a vacancy in their office and the person answered him that there is a vacancy for IT officer. Pastor told me to go to their office the following Monday with my CV.
I got the job after the interview with a salary of #30,000 per month,
it was a great testimony, I was so happy I broke the news to my fiancee and we rejoiced together. After a year that I have been working, I got married and after my wedding, I lost my job.😂😂

THINGS WERE SO ROUGH

Things were so rough to the extent that we could not even pay house rent, we had to beg before we ate. Things were so difficult until one day when my pregnant wife was thinking and crying about our situation, this made me go out and look for a job I saw that day, I just didn't know where to go and I didn't even have transport fare, but on the high way that day I saw some guys stopping bikes so I joined them and I asked what they were doing. One of them answered me that they were arresting bikes that did not have riders permit, he told me that if you arrested one bike you would get #250 I immediately told him that I could ride and then I begged him to let me join them, he took me to his boss and I was tested if I can ride bike. Hummm, that day I arrested 4 bikes that fetched me #1000 when I got home I told my wife about the whole scenario and she was happy that I even brought #1000 to buy food.

IN CONCLUSION

It was from that road that I got a job at Globacom and then from there, things changed better for me today. I have changed several jobs until this present place I am working, to God be the glory.
So dont ever give up you can still stand again.
