Dear Hive friends,

If you or someone you know is looking for a unique, healthy, radical volunteering opportunity in Italy, my Arthouse in Guardia Sanframondi is in need of some supportive camaradery!

I'm about to release a post on Workaway (a mainstream volunteering connecting platform), but would prefer to have someone much more like-minded to visit my Creative World under Natural Law.

I've had myriad volunteers here over the past 13 years, and have co-ordinated other volunteer and work exchange programmes, and multiple creative/ healing residencies for international artists in Guardia S. I was a super-host on AirBnB for years, and have 5-star reviews on all platforms in which I participated.

Things have been much quieter here (in terms of events and cultural exchange) over the past 3 years in particular, but there is a good vibe of positive change right now, in which folks are also starting again to buy the affordable property in our semi-abandoned old town...

My own house is big, quirky, ancient and organic! It needs some basic maintenance, cleaning AND most importantly, I really need physical help with transitioning to off-grid - e.g. installing a scaldabagno - a very basic water heater above my stove... And moving heavy furniture - I need help organising guest space like where you will sleep! And I absolutely require help from someone stronger than me, who can tighten plumbing bolts better than I can! I guardian a big garden nearby, which requires clearing and taming, which I'd appreciate company with.
I'd also appreciate support and company with someone who is good at research and who is already savvy about sovereignty, homesteading, Natural Law and suchlike: with an intact immune system would be prefered. E.g. it would be great to get some help finding a hand-powered washing machine, and creating a solution for the fridge via my ample cantinas/ cellars.

I live in Gift and for the most part exist out-with the conventional world of mainstream, consumerism, following orders, etc.
Guardia Sanframondi's old town is a glorious labyrinth of intelligent architecture, cultural riches and possibility. It also has a modern bustling market town above. It is around 1.5 hours from Naples and 2.5 hours from Rome. Best solution for arriving is probably direct bus from Naples. It has a fascinating international community: some artists and musicians, a load of expats, and workers from around the world who are interwoven into community life.

The local economy mainly revolves around wine and olive oil: vines and groves fill the south-facing slopes below us.

Here is a free ebook of my 'Insider's Guide To Guardia Sanframondi', which might be a wee bit outdated now - the town has grown economically in the past decade, mostly thanks to our expanding community in the old town - but the book gives solid insight into the place and the cultural phenomenon of our international community, and details of how to get here.

Any volunteers I accept here at the Arthouse are super respectful of the sacred space in which I live and work: healthy boundaries, good vibes, grounded mind and a calm demeanour are essential qualities in all Arthouse guests.

A week or two would be essential first, which might be flexible if we work very well together.

Do reach out directly if this all resonates with you: I will reply with my email if you respond below: tag me too @clareartista to make sure I see your note.

Much love,
