Airport City - Educational Field Trip Part 2

Hello, dear Hivers!

I'm back with the continuation of my son's field trip. On the first part, I showed you their exploration of Dinosaur Island Park. This time, I will share with you the place that they visited next. The Airport City in Clark Pampanga.
 

 
We spent nearly half of the day at Dinosaur Island Park, so we hurriedly made our transfer and stopped over at the next location, which is Airport City. We have only been given 15 minutes by the guide to explore and take pictures before we have to return to the bus in order to start heading to the third destination and avoid getting caught in rush hour traffic.

 
Because my kid is fascinated with vehicles, whether they be on land, in the air, or on the sea, the trip to the airport city thrills him as well. Because he knows he has limited time to explore, he got off the bus as soon as the guide gave permission to get off. The kids were running because they saw the display of different kinds of old planes in the field while we were heading to the entrance of the place.

When the kids reached the display plane, they immediately checked the details and tried to open the plane door. Unfortunately, only the exterior of the plane was on exhibit.

After a few minutes of taking photos, they moved to the next plane, this Vought F8 Crusader. I forgot to take a photo and read the fact label on this one because the kids were running all over the place.

The next plane is this T-33 or Thunderbird, and they couldn't check it much as the display is elevated. They can only take a glimpse of what's under the plane.

This F5A Jet Fighter, commonly known as the Freedom Fighter, is the fifth and last one on exhibit. You are aware of the popularity of jet fighters among young boys, and my son and his classmates were hoping to get a look inside the cockpit. It will surely be a dream come true for these kids, but it is not part of the exhibit.
 

 
There's also a stand of jet fighter pilots next to the plane that the guests can use for a photo, but my son is a few inches short for it, and what you can only see is his hair and his sunglasses. 😄

It's now time to go back to the bus and proceed to the next and last destination of the tour. They were enjoying what they saw on the field; thus, it was the fastest fifteen minutes of their lives.
