Hello everyone! It's been a while since I last updated you guys. Did you miss me? How are you? For today鈥檚 agenda, I'm going to talk about a day spent with my mom at the fiesta.

Before heading to the main part of the story, do you guys have any idea what a fiesta is?

Some of you might know, but some of you might not. According to Google, you can use the word fiesta for any party, but it usually refers to a large feast, festival, or very extravagant party. In Spanish, fiesta means "feast," and in many Spanish-speaking places, a fiesta celebrates a saint's day or other religious occasion. The word comes from the Latin festus, meaning "festive, joyful, or merry."

THE DAY OF THE FIESTA馃帄

On May 16, 2024, it was just a normal day for me until my mother invited me to go with her to church and watch the street dancing festival. At first, I was hesitant because I felt so tired that day, but since I can't resist her, of course, I needed to go with her, right? It's once in a blue moon anyway.

Around 4 pm, we arrived at the church, waiting for the mass, but unfortunately, some people said that the mass had already finished at 3 pm. So, we decided to go inside the church to pray and thank God for everything.

Afterwards, we decided to watch the street dancing since it had just started. We definitely enjoyed our stay there, even though our spot wasn't very clear. We were still happy that we were able to witness the street dancing, despite the crowded place.

After Street Dancing馃拑馃挊

Around 6 pm, it was already dark, and since we all know that after the street dancing there is ritual dancing, we planned to watch that too. However, we didn't watch the ritual dancing because it was too crowded, and we couldn't see anything since we're too short, haha.

Since we couldn't watch clearly, we decided to go to the peryahan, which happened to be near the location where the ritual dancing was held. My mom and I played some games there. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures because I was having too much fun playing. We happened to win some prizes; it was a lucky day indeed.

After all the activities, we decided to go home because it was getting late, and we were scared that we might not be able to get back home safely. All in all, it was a fun day, though a little bit exhausting.

That's all for today, Hivers! Thank you and goodbye. See you next time!
