ROLLER COASTER OF LIFE

We look out and see the world ponder on the beauty of being with someone and we look at ourselves as single and alone.

We crave some warm embrace and gentle touch but only get them as fantasies in our imagination.

We put ourselves out there after several battles with the beast we call heartbreak and insecurities just to feel the reward called love.

We task ourselves with knowing the hurdles of our past battles and plunder on the scars they left just so we try to succeed in a new battle.

We live in a generation that considers your shining armor and fancy chariot as perks of a great fighter ignoring the scars and battle wounds that do.

We find our failed relationships with someone that bring sparkle to their eye and ask for our fault and mixups to put a reason to the rejection which leaves us in the isle of depression.

We confuse the wants to feel cared for being in love and fight till the relationship is destroyed and blame it on the love they don’t understand.

We keep fighting for the wrong things just because it feels right and sweet and forget things that are important and right.
