Today I'm stopping by to share with you a recipe that is very simple to prepare but also very delicious.

I was always a lover of Plátano Macho I loved it in almost all its forms, baked, fried, parboiled, etc. but since I got Covid I do not know what happened to my palate that I started to reject it, in fact I lasted a good time without trying it.

But well, I have a husband and he madly loves plantains and out of consideration for him I have added it back to our diet, lately I really like to bake it with cheese, but today I bring you a recipe that I saw on the internet that I really liked, for me it is a different way to eat plantains at home.

Also, one of the things that I really liked about this recipe is that it is usually prepared with very ripe plantain, that plantain that has a black shell, well yes, it should not be thrown away, because we can transform it into a delicious recipe like the one I will share with you below.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Plátano Macho well Ripe.
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil, I used olive oil, you can use the one you have at your fingertips.
  • 1 tablespoon of butter.
  • 40 Grams of Panela.
  • 1/2 cup of water.
  • Spices to taste, I used 1 stick of Cinnamon and half a teaspoon of Clove powder.

Let's go with our preparation.

We are going to take our Plantain and chop it into slices, you can chop it into the size you like.

Then we take it out and put it aside.

And the spices, let it simmer for about 10 minutes so that our melado concentrates the flavor of the Cinnamon and the Clove.

After 10 minutes, remove the Cinnamon, if you used whole cloves also remove them.

Now we are going to place the Plantains in our melado and we are going to let it cook over low heat until our sweet Panela sauce is reduced, the approximate cooking time is ten minutes.

Hoy paso por aquí para compartir con ustedes una receta muy sencilla de preparar pero también muy deliciosa.

Yo siempre fui amante del Plátano Macho me encantaba en casi todas sus formas, horneado, Frito, sancochado, etc. pero desde que me dio Covid no sé qué le paso a mi paladar que empecé a rechazarlo, de hecho duré un buen tiempo sin probarlo.

Pero bueno, tengo esposo y el ama con locura el Plátano y por consideración a él lo he vuelto a agregar a nuestra dieta, últimamente me gusta mucho hacerlo horneado con Queso, pero hoy les traigo una receta que vi por internet que me gustó mucho, para mi es una forma diferente de comer Plátano en casa.

Además, una de las cosas que me ha gustado mucho de esta receta es, que se prepara normalmente con Plátano muy maduro, ese Plátano que tiene la concha como negra, pues sí, no se debe botar, ya que lo podemos transformar en una deliciosa receta como la que les compartiré a continuación.

Ahora sin más preámbulos te invito a que juntos hagamos esta deliciosa receta 😊

Ingredientes:

  • 1 Plátano Macho bien Maduro.
  • 3 Cucharadas de Aceite, yo usé de oliva, puedes usar el que tengas a tu alcance.
  • 1 Cucharada de Mantequilla.
  • 40 Gramos de Panela.
  • 1/2 Taza de Agua.
  • Especies al gusto, yo usé 1 rama de Canela y media cucharadita de Clavo de olor en polvo.

Vamos con nuestra preparación.

Vamos a tomar nuestro Plátano y lo picamos en rodajas, puedes picarlo del tamaño que más te guste.

Luego en una sartén y a fuego medio vamos a echar el Aceite y la Cucharada de Mantequilla.

Allí vamos a colocar el Plátano que hemos picado y lo vamos a dejar que se dore ligeramente por todos lados.

Luego lo sacamos y reservamos.

Ahora sacamos el excedente de Aceite que tiene la sartén y le agregamos la media taza de Agua junto con la panela.

Y las especias, dejamos cocinar a fuego lento por unos 10 minutos para que nuestro melado se concentre del sabor de la Canela y el Clavo de Olor.

Transcurrido los 10 minutos, sacamos la Canela, si usaste clavo de olor entero también hay que sacarlo.

Ahora vamos a colocar los Plátanos en nuestro melado y vamos a dejar cocinando a fuego bajo hasta que nuestra salsa dulce de Panela se reduzca, el tiempo de cocción aproximado son diez minutos.

Pasado ese tiempo ya nuestro Plátano está listo para servir!

Yo lo voy a disfrutar con mi queso venezolano preferido, que nos es otro que el Queso Guayanés, esto es opcional, pero sí que es delicioso, lo dulce con lo salado me encanta 😍
