It was almost 5 years ago that I was writing about Australias Cash Ban attempt in the land Down Under. I was joining the campaign for awareness and resistance alongside hard core Australian Economist John Adams...and eventually we won that fight. The proposed Legislation - Currency (Restrictions on the Use of Cash) Bill 2019 was eventually defeated in late 2020.

Recently John Adams has started up his own Bullion Dealership and has produced his first 9999 Silver Round to commemorate this political victory. It's not a particularly flashy round but it's a start and while Adams Bullion is certainly no Silver Shield they've got to start somewhere and there is some similarities in the political motivation behind the production of this new round. Check it out :-

I don't think it's a Limited Mintage but it also appears to be currently Out of Stock. I'd say it's a pretty niche piece in a country where most people have no real appreciation for stacking precious metals. Still, it'd be a good conversation piece to have and a little bit of history for Australian Freedom Fighters to hold onto. It's a nice reminder that sometimes we can win these big fights and successfully push back against TPTB.
