Happy weekend everyone, I hope we are beginning to love how the weekend look? This week's own is a bit tough considering we have to post just a single picture right, but I believe we gat this.
FAVORITE MOMENT WITH NATURE
My moment would be my visit to conservation center in lekki lagos. It a place that is full of natures like animals, birds, water and a lot of trees.
I chose this picture because I couldn't find anyone better that have a combination of me, trees and animal which is more of nature than anything, so I feel this is perfect. I and my friend had plan for a daycation in the heartbeat of lagos, we mad our researches and this place seems to be perfect for what we wanted.
We drove for about 2 and half hours from where we live, got there and we were asked to pay a fee which is about $4 per person. We paid and we were assigned a tour guide to help us with the environment. She introduced herself and told us about the conservation center and how it came to be, she also warned us about monkeys that they would drag anything we are eating so we have to be careful. She also said that there are crocodiles in there but they do not come out that much so we didn't get to see any.
We walked through a bridge that was built with several woods and sticks and underneath the bridge was a swamp that is quite deep so it advisable we walk carefully so we don't fall in to it. I saw some monkeys, baboons, fishes, ostriches and alot of animals. But we were seeing them from afar in order to stay safe from them.
We were told to also not play loud music so it doesn't invite other animals from inside the thick forest. After walking around for about 30 mins, we decided to climb the longest canopy walk in West Africa. It was quite shaking and alot of us were scared that we might fall into the swamp below us, but we were told to hold on to the handles and enjoy the walk. I personally was scared for a moment but after that I started having a strong mind towards it and started enjoying the fun.
Anyone that is scared of height would probably not want to climb the canopy walk but then there are tour guides to help us through. Standing on the canopy walk I was able to see the world around me, I saw buildings from afar, taller trees and a big ocean a little bit far from us. I really enjoyed the view and the wind that was blowing at that moment.
I wished I would stay there for like a week or two but then it just a daycation and we need to leave in the evening.
Africans are known to have wildlife but in this part of the Africa we do not have that much, it only the east Africa that enjoy the wild lives more. That's why when we see any wild animals center we always appreciate it.
This is by far my favorite moment with nature because I got to enjoy every thing that has to do with nature, from seeing beautiful and strong animals to seeing streams of water, swimming fishes and so much more.
If you haven't been to Africa I think you should make it a date to visit because there are lost of things you would feed your beautiful eyes on and so many food you would love to taste. Beautiful places to visit and different people's you would come across.
Thank you so much for reading 💕 💕 💕
