Soulstice | Save the Girl [No Commentary Gameplay]

Our next step in the journey through the inner walls of Ilden, gets us to another sewer. This time, to solve a puzzle regarding red crystals. We need to traverse many rooms to find the way to remove the crystals blocking our way. It will have us walking back and forth from the same rooms trying to piece out where to go next and if there was a lever we didn't move before.

After completing the puzzle, we can finally move up using a bridge that will get us to an upper level and finally back into the streets. As we can see things seem to be colder as we move closer to the Tear.

Our walk is met with no resistance, but soon will find an eerie omen. There's a child running around and giggling. I've watch enough horror movies to know that isn't a good sign. We don't have any where else to go, but trying to follow this girl.

During this chase, we will come to certain situations. We'll have to defeat the enemies that show up in order to find another clue about the girl. While we do it, Briar and Lute will argue about the whole point of this task. Lute remarks over and over that she doesn't feel the presence of any living being around the area. However, Bria is stubborn and wants to help this child.

In the end, we find the girl in a boss room. We learn right after coming inside, that this was a construct of two wraiths that we need to eliminate. This puppet is used to lure enemies into a trap. There's no other things to do but fight and defeat both enemies.

However, the fight isn't over once the enemies are defeat. After using so much power, Briar falls victim to her Chimera Powers and enters into a Berserk State. Fortunately, we see the entrance of Donovan to try to stop her. Meanwhile, we take control of Lute and traverse her memories. This time, we learn more about the origin of the girls and her connection to the Order of the Ashen Blade.
