Soulstice | One Ugly Monster after another [No Commentary Gameplay]

After getting some new abilities, we need top keep going forward as we can see we are still miles away from the Tear. Our path through this portions of the city will be plagued by enemies. We start by having our first physical airborne enemy which is similar to a harpy. They are annoying as they fly fast and can get away from us quickly. So need need to time Lute's parries to to stop them and close in.

There is not too much to tell about going through except to thank the mechanics of the game for giving us the Rapture thingy. Facing too many enemies is overwhelming. Especially, now that the variety keeps growing. Changing from the fields to attack different kinds of threats gets annoying. It is a fortune that the state of Rapture gives us a way to attack all of them.

Also, I gotta that that, for me, the Trickery skill tree gives you one of the best finisher for Rapture. Trickery also improves the number of parries you can do with Lute and shortens the time between each parry. It also gives you the power to add a stronger parry to bigger enemies. The cherry on top is that this finisher is an AoE attack that deals heavy damage and also heals you for a big amount.

I say that's a win-win situation.

On our way forward will find Layton. As you can see, his mask suffered some damage from the blast that almost got us. His crow, Corvo, is missing. He'll talk to us about what's going on, but he still doubts of our skills. Anyways, he will entrust us with another new weapon, the Hallowed Hunter. This is a bow and it is specially strong against flying targets.

We'll also find a new type of wraith called Possessors. This one are inside bigger enemies. In this case something that is very similar to a scorpion. And this one is tough. The body will not be defeated unless we destroy the wraith possessing it. So, we need to beat it up before defeating the ghost.

Our path ends finding a new way to get forward in our crossing of Ilden, we take a boat and ferry off new parts of the city.
