Timothée Chalamet Drawing

Here’s my drawing of Timothée Chalamet.
The reference photo is from the “Little Women” movie. He is one of the most talented actors. I recommend watching some of his movies if you haven’t already ^^
Drawing this portrait was kind of a challenge for me. I had to add so many details on his hair to make it look realistic.
I often use Prismacolor for drawing hair because it’s wax-based and I can add highlights and details on it more easily. You know, I’ve always had some problem drawing hair and if you have seen my previous posts, you could have realized that I completely messed the up somehow 😄 What I did was to first, color the whole hair part black and brown and then I used a cutter pen knife to add details on it. (I think it’s much easier to perform this technique on Prismacolor.) Maybe I will record a tutorial video later, if you are interested ^^
For the skin I used Fabre Castell Polychromos
And white Gelly Roll pen for highlight in the eyes
The White pen and cutter pen knife I always use
Paper: Steinbach
