This weekend I decided to attend a Forum dictated by a teacher I had in my third year, who recently returned to the country and the university promoted a forum which is called "The Guarantee Application of the Child's Best Interest" where he would be the main speaker and knowing his national and international career, do not miss this opportunity to acquire new knowledge through the excellent dissertation of this universal guarantee of human rights in terms of the best interest of the child from the hand of Dr. Yuri Emilio Buaiz Valera, who He was my teacher in the third year in the field of family law and he left us a great amount of knowledge that will be very useful when we soon find ourselves practicing as lawyers.
 

The place of the forum was in the Simon Bolivar theater, which is located on Avenida Bolivar in San Juan de los Morros, which is a very spacious and welcoming place, apart from having enough capacity for the forum to be brought to many people, most of whom were legal professionals.
 

 

Therefore, since the theater facilities were opened, many teachers, lawyers and students entered the place with the purpose of making an appointment with such an important forum regarding this topic, about which much has been said over time, but nevertheless many do not know what it is and what represents the best interest of the child.
 

 
The place had excellent audio-visual material with screens in multiple places to capture the attention of those attending the forum and thus make it more favorable for them to read the PowerPoint slides that were used for this forum.
 

Fortunately for me, I stayed in the second row of the theater, well, I'm not saying luck either, but rather that I arrive at the place early, an hour before the scheduled date in order to have a nearby venue and be able to have a better and more favorable experience.
 

The child of today will be the man of tomorrow, so certain rights that are inherent to his person must be guaranteed, since from childhood we develop our character and our cognitive abilities are at the top, that is why we do not forget some situations that we experienced as a child that marked us in some way, for better or for worse, education has changed, there are many ways of educating, which is not scolding, we must keep in mind that our education cannot be the same as theirs because we live in totally different times where it has been shown that aggressions they do not correct, on the contrary, they form in children a pattern of contempt, indiscipline towards their parents, in our country according to what is established in our constitution, in treaties and in laws, the state is a guarantee of human rights and more when it comes to children, because as I said before, the child of today will be the man of tomorrow because of what the present and future of the nation represent.

Talking to them about the best interests of the child would be telling them that it is a word that is on everyone's lips, politicians, government entities, NGOs, among many more people who are linked to the state or to an association that has some interest in children, such as UNESCO, among other organizations that will guarantee that this universal human right is fulfilled.

Subsequently to this forum, several professors who live in the university were honored, as well as some university authorities present, it was a very nice act full of deep feeling and nostalgia since the situation in the country is not easy and university professors have been greatly affected, but nevertheless their vocation for service has made them remain standing, they are good with a salary that is not enough, if they will be paid as it is, they would dazzle in each classroom where they are, this recognition is deserved, it was something that I applauded
 

At the end of the activity, a group of colleagues and I took advantage to greet Professor Yuri, who told us he was proud that we have attended this forum because, as future lawyers, preparation must be constant because the law is very changeable and in this sense, preparation is essential to achieve the objectives, for now see you another time, dear friends 🤗
