This book, by well known author Jack London, of Call of the Wild and White Fang fame, details in chapter 9 why crapitalism is doing exactly what it is designed to do.
Enrich the few at the expense of the poor.
If you can dispute the math in that chapter, you will be the first I have known.
Most people have just quit talking to me when I ask them to take a shot at it.
I blame cognitive dissonance and well entrenched apathy.
They find the truth, can't deal with it, retreat back into their 'safe' delusions, and just want to be left alone to forget.
