Estás vacaciones mi hijo (de apenas 5 años) me pidió que le dejara el cabello largo como un primo de el (que tiene 15), quien vino de visita unos días para Cumaná ya que actualmente vive fuera de la cuidad. Accedí a la petición con la condición que cuando tuviera que volver al colegio se lo cortaría. El estuvo de acuerdo y andaba muy feliz al respecto, pero ya se acerca la fecha de regresar a clases así que estuve toda la semana pasada anticipandole que debería ir a cortarse el pelo. Luego de unos días cuando sentí que acepto la situación le pedí una cita por Whatsapp al barbero de @mkbarbershop, quien desde hace unos meses nos ha prestado su servicio.

These vacations my son (just 5 years old) asked me to let his hair long as a cousin of his (who is 15), who came to visit a few days to Cumana as he currently lives outside the city. I agreed to the request with the condition that when he had to go back to school I would cut it. He agreed and was very happy about it, but the date of going back to school is approaching so I spent all last week anticipating him that he should go and get his hair cut. After a few days when I felt he accepted the situation I made an appointment via Whatsapp to the barber of @mkbarbershop, who has been giving us his service for a few months now.

 
Para nuestra suerte tenía cupo ese mismo día a las 5:30 pm, se me ocurrio que para endulzar un poco a mi hijo lo llevaría primero por un helado antes de asistir a la cita pautada, ya que justo al frente de la heladería nos quedaría la barbería. Después de comerse toda la paleta subimos a la barbería y estaba una persona atendiendose, más bien ya estaba por terminar y realmente no esperamos mucho pues el barbero se organiza muy bien para atender a sus clientes, por lo cual es importante asistir a la hora que se indica para no perder el cupo.

Luckily for us I had an appointment that same day at 5:30 pm, it occurred to me that to sweeten my son a little I would take him first for an ice cream before attending the scheduled appointment, since just in front of the ice cream shop we would find the barber shop. After eating all the popsicle we went up to the barbershop and there was a person attending, rather it was about to end and we really did not wait long because the barber is very well organized to serve their customers, so it is important to attend at the time indicated not to lose the quota.
 

 
Cuando tocó el turno de mi hijo le expliqué al señor que corte me gustaría, por lo regular se le corta de esa forma pues es más fácil para mí peinarlo luego en casa. Debo admitir que el barbero es muy paciente y amable; mi niño es inquieto, tiende a moverse o sino preguntar que es lo que le están haciendo, hasta es capaz de opinar la manera en la que a él le parece cómo le deberían cortar su cabello. El barbero solo se ríe de sus ocurrencias, ese día le dijo que por favor no lo dejara calvo jajaja

When it was my son's turn, I explained to the gentleman which cut I would like, usually he is cut that way because it is easier for me to style him at home. I must admit that the barber is very patient and kind; my son is restless, he tends to move around or ask what is being done to him, he is even able to give his opinion on how he thinks his hair should be cut. The barber just laughs at his witticisms, that day he told him to please not let him bald hahaha.
 

 
Poco a poco le fue dando forma al cabello, utilizando la máquina y las tijeras, limpio un poco con la hojilla, le aplicó un gel, fue secando el cabello y por último le aplicó laca. Mientras conversamos utilicé la aplicación KeyChain, coloqué el nombre de usuario y le pregunte el costo del corte, me indico que eran 5$, el mismo equivalente en HBD, sin más cargos ni comisiones, le mostré la pantalla de mi celular al barbero y con toda confianza me dijo que estaba bien. Lo que me demostró que se siente también seguro con este método de pago.

Little by little he was shaping the hair, using the machine and the scissors, cleaned a little with the blade, applied a gel, was drying the hair and finally he applied hairspray. While we were talking I used the KeyChain application, I put the user name and asked him the cost of the cut, he told me it was 5$, the same equivalent in HBD, no more charges or commissions, I showed the screen of my cell phone to the barber and he confidently told me it was fine. This showed me that he also feels safe with this method of payment.
 

 
Tanto mi hijo como yo quedamos muy satisfechos con el resultado. Siempre es muy ameno ir a esa barbería y mejor aún que puedo cancelar con mis HBD sin tener que pensar en intereses o tasas de cambio. Cada día noto más todos los beneficios de este maravilloso proyecto de criptoadopción del cual me siento orgullosa de formar parte.

Both my son and I were very pleased with the result. It is always very enjoyable to go to that barbershop and even better that I can pay with my HBD without having to think about interest or exchange rates. Every day I notice more and more all the benefits of this wonderful crypto-adoption project that I am proud to be a part of.
