February 25th, marked the 186th anniversary of the grant from the U.S. Patent No.138 to Sam Colt for his revolving-chamber pistol, at the age of 22.

Known as the 'great equalizer,' Sam Colt's revolver handgun was revolutionary and in its wake it left a nation iconic for its gun ownership and firearm obsession. Eliminating the need to reload, Colt pistols forever changed the game.
