For s long time I have not been teaching in Sunday school, because I now have a subordinate, she was the one that taught on women's day that is why she is tying the women's day wrapper.
She taught about the jealousy of Saul towards David the topic was
SAUL IS JEALOUS
The Bible test: 1 Samuel 17:55-558
18:5-30
The memory verse: Songs of Solomon 8:6 Jealousy is cruel as the grave (NIV)
The outline which is the body of the lesson
1: Saul became jealous of David
2: Saul planned to kill David
3: Saul change his mind
What made Saul envious of David was that the women started singing and dancing as the women were celebrated they sang saul has killed thousands but David tens of thousands, this is how he(Saul) became jealous of David. He feared that David might become King instead of he and his son Jonathan,
Unknown to Saul, David has already been anointed King by Samuel,
GOD told Samuel to go to the house of Jesse's house to go and anoint a king but the oil refused to drop on the other son's of Jesse, and Samuel instructed that no one should sit until David returns to the house, and he was anointed King,
David did not know his work would begin when he kills Goliath,
When I was given opportunity to contribute I said: don't praise a child more than his brother cause it will encourage jealousy
Application
The Bible says that jealousy is screw yes jealousy hurts. So was jealous of David and hurt himself in the process. In this story we shall hear, about an eagle (open a bird) that was jealous of another eagle, and in the process hurts himself.
A story is a Fable. An eagle could fly so well that it are flu another eagle, and this second eagle didn't like it, it became jealous of the first one. One day, a sportsman was shooting at birds and the jealous eagle 🦅 told him to shoot at the first one,
The sportsman said "he would, if he only had some feathers to put in the arrow". The jealous eagle pulled out one of his feather, the arrow was shot, but didn't quite reach the rival bird because it was flying too high. The Indians eagle pulled out more feathers, and kept pulling them out until he lost so many that he couldn't fly. And then The sportsman thunder around and killed it, jealousy has killed the eagle.
Please add any contributions to the act of jealousy.
