A typical Sunday - Helping in Household Chores
7 comments
Some of the youths today are not doing household chores because they are so busy with their studies, or busy using their gadgets, watching television, or sometimes choosing to hang out with friends especially those that are born with silver spoons. But for me, learning to do household chores is an important part of one's life. It can help to develop our patience and time management skills. As for me, it gives me a feeling of accomplishment whenever I finish a task.
Hi guys! It's me again Althea. For this blog, I'm gonna share with you how my Sunday went yesterday.
First thing in the morning every Sunday is our church worship service. I'm getting up early because the worship will start at 6:00 in the morning. Since I am a church officer(member of the choir), I must be early because we need first to have drill vocalization. The worship service takes an hour and a half.
After going home from church, I usually help in doing household chores. I am the one in charge of sweeping the floor and washing the dishes after every meal. It's important to learn these things because I know someday it can be useful especially when I'm alone or will have a family. I also wanna help my mom during the days that I don't have classes, I want weekends to serve as her day off from doing household chores.
Yesterday, we also cooked spaghetti for our meryenda and I helped prepare the ingredients. We also watched Horror Movies in the afternoon.
At night before going to sleep, I studied my lessons and finished my homework, I do advanced reading as a preparation for the coming school days.
I always love weekends, aside from rest days, It is also an opportunity to bond with my family, learn different household chores, and a time to go to church and reflect about life. Overall, it was a productive Sunday! <3
Thanks for passing by, til my next blog!
