Minor Quests

IRL: You ever get those small tasks tar is handed to you. Like fetching a drink(water) or going for your groceries.

• In the game, similar tasks exists like retrieving a ring of a dead man to his widow.
• Looking out for fellow country men, delivering message, and many kinds of small work.
• These are great for collecting experience, the only downside: not enough xp.

Still, you get familiar with the terrain and it’s enemies. Discover many farming spots like I fine. I found where to get blood wurst or the thing required to craft a fire bomb.

Main Quest

I am one of those people who like to grind up a bit before moving on to the bigger tasks at hand. That is what I am doing at hinterlands. Once I’ve finished enough tasks and see battles between the Templars and Mages through.

In this episode, I did many quests and accidentally even completed the small ones. I was on a crusade and while looting I got the necessary items. Sometimes even thieves are also good, when acted right.

I hit another wall today and I am not proud of it. This place was in the left part of the Hinterlands. You could look at me trying to come up with a strategy to beat the defence at minute 40 until I finally give up. It’s highly unlikely of me of giving up in games but I guess that’s that.

I have so explored more areas and got more quests. I still have yet to find the key to Valammar Cave.

I now have to find caches apostate caches. Already found 2 of them, of which I had already found 1 cache but didn’t mark it. A true frivolous journey.
