Karaoke and filipinos

From karaoke in Korea to karaoke in Philippines
In 2004 I began to travel in the Philippines. I used to expend my vacation time there, after my every semester going to Mexico since 2002 when I began to work in Korea.
I was familiar with the karaoke concept in Korea. It was a kind of good moment to share a private space with friends while singing a song with your friends. The spaces are different sizes, depending of the number of friends you are going to share time in the karaoke.
Karaoke in Philippines
But in Philippines, the concept was more like a part of the every day life. When I arrived and visit different places, since Manila to Cebú, I was surprised to find a karaoke almost in every corner... in a little food store or coffee shop it was possible to find a karaoke. There was no need for a private room.
Do they begin to early?
A couple of years ago, in a friend's birthday party I captured a couple of pictures from a baby already in training for a karaoke singing!
That's why they are very good at karaoke
I thought.
They begin to early, as a part of they life from early years!
It's a great aspect of their cultural life how they enjoy the karaoke almost as an every day activity. Maybe I am exaggerating, but one of the things they need at home in Philippines is a karaoke, as it was (or still it is?) TV at Mexico.
