How To Make A Bow Tie Bead

A happy Sunday friends. I made a bow tie using ball beads. The color of the ball beads used was red and yellow. I love the two colors when going out for an event. I must confess to have been following a friend who have more knowledge on beads. She makes all kinds of valuable and creative items using beads. I have been following her up for months now and I was able to grab some knowledge on bead making.

Most of the challenges I encounter to practice some of the knowledge I acquired from my friend on bead making was fear. Anytime, I'm free from my children and I want to practice some bead making, I'll be scared if I'll get it right. That was how I challenged myself to make a bow tie for myself.

Method

The easiest way we're going to achieve the bow tie making is to always maintain the same number of ball beads for the red and yellow.

We're going to be making the bow tie in two ways. The two ways are to make the yellow and red ball beads separate. We have to weave the yellow bead separately and another for the red. This will be done in accordance with the bow tie steps. Then later, the two ball beads weaved will be joined together to form the bow tie.

Now, you are going to bring out some of the fishing line to be used for the bow tie making. Count 6 and enter it into the fishing line. You'll use the 6 ball bead entered to form round. This will be done by using the fishing line to weave but remember that ball bead that formed round will have to be at the center of the fishing line. This is because the fishing line will be used to weave other ball beads to form the exact shape needed for the bow tie.

Seeing that we have formed the first round bead using the 6 ball beads. We have to keep forming other round styles until we're able to form the shape of the image shared. The same shape have to be formed using red ball beads.

Now, we have to join the two yellow and red ball beads formed in bow tie process. When the joining is completed, form a line using red ball beads. The red ball beads line formed will be used to close the two spaces showing the joint between the yellow and red ball beads in the process of the bow tie making.

When we have achieved the bow tie making process, the last thing we have to do is to add an elastic line to the bow tie formed. The elastic line will be used to tie to our neck. That's to say that it'll be used to hold the now tie from the neck.

In conclusion, I must say, even if I was not able to achieve a nice bead bow tie that will draw people's attention. I'll still congratulate myself.
