Passive Income [Stakelayer]

MAKING MONEY IN MY SLEEP

I made a video about Stakelayer a few weeks ago. I actually partnered with a PR company that helps to get the word about crypto projects out to the masses. Since I have a descent sized YouTube channel, I was given a few tokens as compensation. It wasn't so straight forward, however. I was given Tether with which I had to purchase the tokens through the presale since the tokens hadn't been launched yet.

Since then, the combination of the video on YT, the rewards from my referral link, and the staking rewards, have made me more money than the original compensation did. That's one of the reasons why content creation is a powerful tool for passive income. If you can build a community large enough, you can quite easily live off the income. If you live somewhere with a lower cost of living that I do, you can achieve that much faster. That's why many digital nomads flock to Bali, Costa Rica, Chiang Mai, and so on. In London, you need a huge following and constant deals to survive here.

I have a friend who has a YT channel he's been building for the past 10 years. His videos only get a handful of views a week, but he has amassed over 10 thousand videos in that time. On average, his channel gets 300k views a day! This is because of the sheer volume of videos he has. Many of these are tutorials, mundane videos about household devices and "how to" videos. They are long tail and last very long, unlike my videos that have a shelf life of a few days. His channel brings in roughly $5-7k a month, depending on the season. There are some Q4 months when he rakes in over $10k because the RMP goes up in that season like it does for everything.

It's easy to look at someone like that and envy them, but most people are unwilling or unable to put in the amount of work they did over a decade to produce such digital real estate. Of course he's diversified his income now into other things. YouTube can close his account at anytime, without warning and for no apparent reason. We've seen some horror stories in recent times. It's why a Web3 alternative for YouTube is much needed and very important.

Here on Hive, of course, we have several passive income options. My favourite is the 20% interest on HBD in savings. I keep hearing that it will soon come to an end, but it's provided an unparalleled place to save cash over the worst crypto winter ever!

If you're reading this, or you've watched my video about Stakelayer then please remember that there is a relatively high risk with new tokens. It may well be an absolute rug pull. I have not spent a cent of my own money on this but, rather, that provided by the PR company as compensation for me talking about their product on my channel. Also nothing I say is ever financial advice. You must do your own due diligence research.

Having said that, the presale is happening here: this is my referral link that pays me commission if used.

Peace & Love,

Adé
