If you have already heard of Broforce or have thought about buying it with the recent offer that has the game, but do not know if you will like the style it has, The Expendabros is for you.

The game is practically a promotional demo that mixes the Broforce, which in itself were already parodies of classic action stars in movies and comics, along with the cast of The Indestructibles 3, as it promotes this movie. If you're not familiar with the game, it's like a modernized and more adrenaline pumping version of Contra and Metal Slug as you can run and jump on walls while exploding everything in your path.

It still has high chances of big explosions, terrorists panicking at your mere presence...and ridiculous ways to die either by your own hand or by accident of a teammate. But the lives system is still there: Every soldier you rescue is one more, and if you have unlocked characters, you'll get another one for every time you die and come back. But if everyone loses all their lives, back to the start or to the checkpoint.

While there aren't as many characters as in the base game, there will still be a variety of weapons you'll recognize: From sticky grenade launchers and machine guns that will let you fly off due to recoil, to the tricky arsenal of Broctor Death who only fights with a knife...but has an extra jump with his upward knife attack, can lunge forward even in mid-air with his special, and can cut through blocks like butter.
